- Heat oven to 425 degrees. Beat flour, milk, salt, and eggs until well blended.
- Heat butter in a bowl until hot and pour into 13" x 9" x 2" rectangular pan. Pour the batter mix into the center of the pan so that it spreads out evenly with the melted butter against the edges.
- Bake until sides of pancake are puffed and deep golden brown, about 15-20 minutes. Shut off the oven, take out the pancake, and sprinkle with cheese. If the cheese needs help melting, return it to the still-warm oven for a few minutes.
- Squeeze juice from lemon over apples, arrange in center of pancake. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
