
- 1 egg white
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp allspice
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1 pound pecans
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- In a large bowl, whisk egg white until frothy, then whisk in vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, salt and spices.
- Fold nuts into egg white, then stir in sugar/spice mixture.
- Spread onto parchment-lined sheet pans and bake for 10 minutes. Turn the nuts over and then bake for another 10-15 minutes. When you take them out, they will feel tacky, but after they cool off, they will crisp up again.
